The management of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has stated that the NDLEA training exercise for all pre-selected applicants will be held this year, adding that all applicants who saw their names on the NDLEA shortlisted list should attend the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency physical training.

The NDLEA training will last for two (2) weeks. The purpose of the training is to provide all pre-selected candidates with self-defence training as well as a thorough understanding of how the agency works.

NDLEA fixes a new date for the training of new narcotic assistants. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has directed all successful second batch Narcotic Assistant candidates to report for training between Friday, 3rd December 2026, and Monday, 6th December 2026. NDLEA Training Centers 2026

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency training venue will take place at designated locations. All successful candidates are to appear at their various training venues on time. Failure to report at the training center within the stipulated time means you have declined the offer.

Also, all successful candidates are advised to observe the COVID-19 protocol. Any candidate who failed to report to the venue by 6:00 PM of the stipulated dates would be disqualified.

Successful candidates (Narcotic Assistants) are to report to the NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, located in Jos. Successful candidates are to bring the following to the training camp:

  • Original and photocopy of their credentials
  • NDLEA online application reference slip.
  • Four copies of 5×7 colour photograph without a cap/hat
  • Writing materials, to include a biro, pencils, a ruler, and notebooks
  • File jacket, among others.

There are also minimum height requirements: 1.65 meters for males and 1.60 meters for females.
